Mentorship Program, Discord Coordinator / Global

Do you love using Discord to connect with others? Do you love thinking of fun and innovative ways to bring people together?
 
We are looking for a Discord-savvy individual to run the Discord server for our Mentorship Program. This person will think of fun and creative ways for Mentorship Program participants to engage with each other and build community in a a safe, nurturing environment!
 

Director of Digital Content (Officer) / Global

Are you a tech-savvy person who enjoys working with different digital content platforms?
 
The Digital Content Director will lead a team to manage and expand upon the digital content offerings for CMA Global, its chapters and prospective digital members, including but not limited to the CMA web page, YouTube, Screening Room, StreamYard and social channels. 
 

Accounting Manager / Global

Do you have strong financial skills and want to help the CMA operations team run smoothly?
 
The Global Accounting Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations and Global Treasurer to oversee the annual budget, keep accurate accounting records, and ensure purchases are approved by the President of CMA.
 

Co-Director of Events (East Coast) / Global

Do you live on the East Coast and have ideas for fun and innovative events that will inspire and inform our community?
 
We’re looking for an awesome person to plan, organize, and facilitate Global Children’s Media Association events. The Co-Director of Events works closely with CMA Officers to develop member-centered events within scope, schedule and budget. These may include in-person and virtual networking opportunities, panels, seminars, experiences, conferences, and services in accordance with the mission of the organization. 
 

Secretary / Global

Are you organized and have excellent written and verbal communication skills? Do you want to be the glue that helps holds the CMA organization together?
 
The Global Secretary will support the organization in many ways including but not limited to: scheduling and record keeping of various Board meetings, organizing voting processes, working with and supporting CMA Treasurer and President, as well as other CMA teams.
 

Treasurer / Global

Do you have strong financial skills and want to be a part of CMA’s growth? Become our next Treasurer!
 
The treasurer works closely with the Board to help set and meet financial goals. Specifically, the Treasurer develops the annual budget, keeps full and accurate accounts of receipts and disbursements, handles deposits, prepares taxes, and maintains valuable documents for CMA. In addition, the Treasurer renders statements accounts at meetings of the Board and to Officers or Directors of CMA.
 

CREATIVE DIRECTOR / Global

Would you like to put your graphic design expertise to work to help create meaningful content? Children’s Media Association needs you! 

As the CMA Creative Director, you will work with the Marketing team to design content for the CMA website, events, and social media channels within brand guidelines and templates.

DIRECTOR OF VOLUNTEERS / Global

Do you love to make people feel good by giving them that little extra something? If so, we need you on the Membership team!

The Volunteers Manager will work in partnership with the Global Director of Operations and be responsible for helping CMA improve and better serve and reward its volunteers. 

VIDEO SUPERVISOR / Global

Are you passionate about editing? Do you want to become more involved in Kids Media? Come join the CMA editing team! 

Overview: As a CMA Video Supervisor you will manage a team to edit high-quality short and long-form videos of CMA’s virtual events. 

Experience: Knowledge and experience using Premier is required.

JOB BOARD COORDINATOR / Los Angeles

The Job Board is an exclusive CMA member benefit that provides access to a curated list of relevant job postings. The LA Job Board Coordinator will work with the global job board team to identify job opportunities and open positions that cater to the Children’s Media community in Los Angeles.

CO-DIRECTOR OF EVENTS / Los Angeles

Do you have ideas for fun and innovative events that will inspire and inform our community? 

We’re looking for an awesome person to plan, organize, and facilitate Children’s Media Association events for the LA Chapter. The Co-Director of Events works closely with CMA Officers to develop member-centered events within scope, schedule and budget. These may include in-person and virtual networking opportunities, panels, seminars, experiences, conferences, and services in accordance with the mission of the organization. 

EVENT COORDINATOR, Los Angeles

Do you love bringing people together for a shared purpose and experience? Join the Events Team!

The Event Coordinator will work with the VP of Programming and Director of Events, to help plan, organize, and facilitate Children’s Media Association events including networking opportunities, panels, seminars, experiences, conferences, and services in accordance with the mission of the organization. Some events are in-person and many are virtual so ease with technology is key!

Membership Coordinator / Los Angeles

Do you want to help inspire, inform, and connect those working across kid and family media by growing and supporting CMA membership? 

The Membership Coordinator will work with the Director of Memberships to expand CMA membership within the LA industry, develop new member programs and services, and help maintain LA member communication.

PRESIDENT / Bay Area

Are you an entrepreneurial leader and strategic systems thinker? Does the idea of building a team, creatively tackle questions and challenges, and thinking of ways to reach new audiences all get you excited? Are you based in the Bay Area with networks connecting you to the tech sector and the work it is doing for kids and families?

The chapter President supervises the general affairs of CMA Bay Area and works closely with the National President and the CMA-BA Chapter Board of Officers to set and meet organizational goals. Serving as the face of the CMA BA chapter, the President maintains and leads the development of new chapter programming, local event sponsorships, and the development of the chapter leadership. 

DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP / Bay Area

Do you want to help inspire, inform and connect those working across kid and family media by growing and supporting CMA membership? 

The Director of Membership will manage the membership experience through all of our touch-points and make recommendations/suggestions to improve the member experience as identified /needed.  They will maintain all member communication and develop and manage the process for member feedback. 

Director of Marketing / Bay Area

Do you want to grow our audience through the sharing of impactful ideas and stories that inspire a call to action? 
 
We’re seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the marketing/communications, events, and membership teams to increase Bay Area membership engagement and unify the brand experience at all touchpoints. You’ll work with the marketing team to brainstorm, plan and post content across all our social media channels.

MARKETING COORDINATOR/ New York

Do you want to help grow our audience through the sharing of impactful ideas and stories that inspire a call to action? CMA needs you in our NY chapter!

We’re seeking a Marketing Coordinator to assist the NY Director of Marketing and Communications as well as the marketing/communications, events, and membership teams to increase membership engagement and unify the brand experience at all touchpoints. You’ll work with the marketing team to brainstorm, plan and post content across all our social media channels.
