About our Speakers
|Stacey Greenberger is a writer on PBS Kids/Amazon’s Clifford the Big Red Dog, Nickelodeon’s Fashion Ally, and Nickelodeon’s Santiago of the Seas. She started out reading other people’s writing as script coordinator for the award-winning PBS Kids series Peg + Cat, then went on to write for the show herself. She has been a part of the writers rooms for Nickelodeon’s Welcome to the Wayne and Blaze and the Monster Machines, written for live action on Hunter Street and I Am Frankie, and has even gotten to write for THE Caitlin Hodson on Butterbean’s Cafe. When Stacey is not writing shows, she should be working on her children’s book (but is probably taking a walk, planning her next adventure, or eating cheese instead).|
Caitlin Hodson is currently the story editor of Nick Jr.’s Bubble Guppies and Butterbean’s Café. She has written for Amazon, HBO Kids, and Sesame Workshop, as well as writing and producing short animations for the Nick App. She has also developed several original show pitches. In her free time, she enjoys playing board games, traveling, and writing about herself in the third person.
Melinda Richards LaRose is an Emmy-nominated pen-for-hire, specializing in children’s media. Her writing credits include Emmy Award-winning Outstanding Preschool Series Peg + Cat and Tumble Leaf; Disney Junior’s Vampirina and Jake and the Never Land Pirates; Nick Jr.’s Sunny Day, Nella the Princess Knight, Bubble Guppies and Dora and Friends; Amazon’s Creative Galaxy; and Sprout’s Astroblast, among others. She’s currently lending her quirky sense of humor to the new Clifford the Big Red Dog and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood as well as a new pirate series for Nick Jr. There are others but my guess is your eyes are getting tired right about now. Melinda got her start writing in the preschool world on The Wonder Pets, Oobi and 3rd & Bird. She got her humble beginnings in children’s media as the host of “The Playground” radio show for Boston’s WERS-FM. She’s also been known to dabble in development, e-books and the paper kind too. Melinda lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two focus group participants children – five-year-old Ben and not-quite-two-year-old Lauren.
