John has also been a Muppet performer on projects such as Dinosaurs, Muppets From Space, The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss, and The Muppets Take the O2. He has authored two puppet-making books (Puppet Mania and Puppet Planet), and has been a puppet captain, a choreographer, and a musician.
As a puppet builder, Kennedy has represented Jim Henson’s exhibits around the world with his puppet kits; he has also instructed young puppeteers on cruises, camps, and festivals. His company, Hands In Art, Inc., creates puppets for TV series, theme parks , and commercials in Orlando, Florida where he also writes and performs music with his band, Johnny K Band.

And Noel’s currently developing “THE SHOW ME SHOW,” to be a series for kids with autism & special needs. You can watch some of the videos at “THE SHOW ME SHOW Channel” on YouTube. As well as being a director, writer, & producer, Noel also has his own podcast, “NOEL’S BOOKNOOK,” reading classic fairy tales, poems, and short stories.
Noel lives in Brooklyn with his wife, New York Times best-selling novelist Susan Elia MacNeal, (of the “Maggie Hope Mysteries” from Random House) and 15-year-old son, Matt (a budding performer and proud nerd).
