Has there ever been a time when people more needed to understand how children everywhere grow up under different circumstances but with equal dignity? Has our world ever been more interconnected? Children’s television provides an amazing window into how cultures view childhood, play, learning and growth; and for more than 50 years PRIX JEUNESSE International has invited children’s media experts from around the globe to screen, discuss, share insights and evaluate how well we serve young audiences.
For those who can’t make it to the festival, the PRIX JEUNESSE Suitcase is a tasting menu and creative refresher. After a full day of shows and clips, everyone walks away with new perspectives, bubbling over with ideas and inspiration.
The 2016 festival is a particular gold mine. At the New York Suitcase, you’ll see innovation and daring, emotion and tension, but also surprise and laughter.
Please join the Children’s Media Association, Fordham University’s Department of Communication & Media Studies, Dubit and PRIX JEUNESSE International for this ever-popular screening and conversation.
