Join us for “Pizza and Puppets” with special guest Tim Lagasse, whose work includes Sesame Street, The Muppets, and Netflix’s The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Tim will discuss puppet history and his nearly three decades of professional experience. You’ll even have a chance to design and build your own shadow puppet. Plus, pizza!

Puppet Artist Tim Lagasse has been entertaining audiences with his unusual skill sets for almost 30 years.
His puppeteering and puppet building work can be seen on “Sesame Street”, “the muppets”, “Oobi”, “Crash and Bernstein”, “Blue’s Room”, “Bear in the Big Blue House”, “Chapelle’s Show”, “Johnny and the Sprites”, “The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell”, Nickelodeon’s “Stick Stickley” and Netflix’s upcoming “The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance”. His filmmaking and puppet designs for PBS’ “Between the Lions” garnered him three Daytime Emmy nominations.
A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a BFA in Puppet Arts, Tim was the first student to receive the Jim Henson Memorial Prize in Puppetry. He has also received a Broadcast Design Silver Award and a Union International de la Marionette Citation of Excellence in the Art of Puppetry.
