New York International Children’s Film Festival: Supa Modo Screening with Director Talk Back

If you love beautiful and unique films made for kids, this is the event for you! The New York International Childrens’ Film Festival brings thoughtful, provocotive, and intelligent films to NYC kids every year. Join CMA for a chance to see one of this year’s best films: “Supa Modo.” This film from Kenya tells the story of a young girl and the life-changing impact of making a movie. About our Chaperone
Briana Jinadu got her start as a speech language pathologist, working in the NYC public school system and eventually ran her own speech therapy clinic. After running her business for four years, she decided to move into children’s media by way of freelance research, which she was introduced to by former CMA president LaToye Adams. Briana now freelances as a research assistant and English language teacher while she pursues a career in children’s media.
Briana enjoys all things relaxing, including yoga, tea and reading. She loves her cat, Belle, and being a cat lady.
