DreamWorks is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Digital Operations VP, Directors and their leadership teams. This role involves a high level of exposure both internally and with external partners. The administrator interacts with the studio community electronically (email), by telephone and in person. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, perceptive, and maintain a desire and positive attitude towards customer service.

Responsibilities: “What would you say you do here?”

  • Answering and directing phone calls.
  • Organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments across multiple departments.
  • Coordinating and booking travel.
  • Submitting and reconciling expense reports.
  • Developing meeting agendas, event planning, and general office coordination and follow through.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative assistant experience.
  • Capable of assessing and anticipating the administrative needs of the department.
  • Confident and proactive with excellent communication skills and is comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong technical skills including MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
  • High ethical standards and capable of handling confidential information.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and be self-directive.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills are crucial for this position.
  • Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal/DreamWorks Animation worksite.
  • Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.

Desired Characteristics

  •  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  •  Administrative assistant experience preferably in entertainment or technology/software.
  •  Google Suite and video conferencing application experience is strongly preferred.
  •  Familiarity with Mac and Linux platforms, Adobe Photoshop or other image editing software.
  •  Curiosity about Technology focusing on Systems & Infrastructure Operations is a plus.
