Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to vice president, Communications, including scheduling, travel, expenses, calendars and contacts
- Develop and maintain editorial, awards and events calendars, and help prepare and submit entries and pitches
- Conduct comprehensive research and vetting of industry conference and executive speaking opportunities
- Assist with logistics and coordination of executive appearances at press and industry events
- Assist vice president with writing executive communications, presentations and more
- Research, update and maintain media lists
- Write, edit and publish relevant reporting/content across a range of communication channels and formats
- Help develop, support and execute employee events and other employee engagement activities
- Coordinate closely with divisions across Disney Branded Television, Disney General Entertainment and the wider Walt Disney Company, and participate in cross-functional activities
- Support additional projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications:

- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work or internship experience
- Highly organized and easily manages multiple tasks simultaneously under deadline/pressure
- Possesses excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Approachable style and ability to effectively and professionally interface with all levels of management and business partners, including executives, teammates, talent, press and external contacts
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in internet-based research and experience with PowerPoint/Keynote and Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information, exercise good judgment and use discretion

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
