CMA is excited to start a new series “Dr. Amanda Gummer Presents” where we will sit down with Dr. Amanda Gummer, CEO of the research consultancy Fundamentally Children and Dr. Gummer’s Good Play Guide, to discuss different ways children’s media can contribute to healthy child development. On May 16th, we will kick off this series with “Dr. Amanda Gummer Presents: Positive Play for Anxiety.” Anxiety levels are skyrocketing and children’s content providers are uniquely placed to help. Dr. Amanda will delve into the current anxiety epidemic and explore how positive play opportunities act not only to calm present anxiety, but also can help build resilience and promote life-long mental health.
