Suzie Domnick

Suzie Domnick (she/her) is super excited to further the Children’s Media Associations mission to unite, inform and inspire those within the children’s media industry. As a community of thought leaders and visionaries of children’s content, CMA’s goal is to empower everyone at every level to contribute to the development of engaging, nurturing and impactful content for children all around the world.

Suzie is a dynamic entertainment executive who has held leadership positions at Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., and most recently led Global Franchise Development at Netflix. She has been a key player in launching and developing some of today’s most globally successful entertainment franchises, including Harry Potter, Stranger Things, Star Trek, Batman and Super Girl.

In 2020 Suzie launched her own production and intellectual property development company, Very Big World Entertainment to focus on family co-viewing content development, especially for the underserved demographic of girls 10-15 years old. Suzie also continues to consult and work as an Executive Producer for studios, IP owners, and production companies to develop entertainment franchises.

Suzie’s passion is identifying entertainment with franchise potential at the script, comic, or book stage, articulating how those properties uniquely connect with consumers, and leading the strategic and creative development to transform those ideas into global franchises that resonate with fans over the long term.

Suzie has two daughters, one is entering high school this fall while the other will be a sophomore at UCLA. She lives in Sherman Oaks, AKA “The Valley,” with her husband, daughters, and two lovable puppies. Suzie balances her busy life with a dedicated yoga practice to keep her body, mind and soul healthy, focused and present.
