Rubin Soodak

Rubin is passionate about making radically progressive and equitable learning content. He believes in the learning potential of stories and the developmental significance of quality interactions between people. He is lifelong dedicated to using screens to empower learners big and small!

Rubin creates for animation studios, statewide educational programs, startups, classrooms, standalone curricula, YouTube channels, and friends! Before children’s media, he taught physics and filmmaking at Eton College, wrote curricula for the University of Chicago, and designed science camps at NASA and MIT. Rubin earned his BA in Physics at the University of Chicago and his Ed.M. in Technology, Innovation, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Rubin joined the CMA in 2020 and has been floored by the Association’s warm welcome and support. He is excited to join the CMA NY Board as Director of Marketing and to start giving back to this incredible community!
