Diondra Brown

Diondra joined the Children’s Media Association in 2020 and became the Events Coordinator for the Bay Area chapter. It was in 2020 that she began to transfer her knowledge and skills as a child & family psychotherapist into the world of children’s media, by serving as a consultant for global children’s media companies.

She is currently the Content & Curriculum Manager at Twin Cities PBS. There, Diondra leads the Child Development & Education Team for the station’s newest Ready to Learn grant project, which aims to enhance executive functioning skills and career readiness for K-2nd grade children. Additionally, she reviews children’s television shows and picture books for Common Sense Media.

Diondra earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Development & Family Studies from the University of Connecticut in 2015, and a Master of Clinical Social Work degree in 2017 from the University of Pennsylvania. She currently lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia, and is a proud dog Mom to her Cavapoo, Lulu.
