Ana Voci

Ana Voci is an Emmy-nominated children’s and educational media producer. While a student in NYU Tisch’s Film & Television program, Ana was inspired to have a career in children’s media when working in a children’s hair salon and seeing how characters like Elmo and Thomas the Tank Engine would immediately calm frightened and nervous kids. Seeing the power the screen had over young kids, Ana wanted to ensure that they would always have access to positive and educational content.

Ana started her career at Sesame Workshop, where she relived her childhood by diving through their legendary video archive and supporting production of content focused at educators. From there, Ana worked in the Kids’ Media & Education department at The WNET Group, supporting production on a variety of projects for children and educators. Ana was the Coordinating Producer for the long-running PBS KIDS series Cyberchase, where she was finally able to apply her childhood love of charting and graphing her Halloween candy to good use.

After Cyberchase, Ana moved to 9 Story Media Group, where she was the Senior Producer for the Nick Jr series Blue’s Clues & You!, and became an expert at looking for clues (and Snail). Ana then worked at Augenblick Studios as the Supervising Producer on the PBS KIDS civics series City Island, where she enjoyed having a talking lightbulb and trash bag as coworkers.

Recently, Ana launched Ishbel Productions, a children’s and educational media production company. She’s co-developed and produced an audio series for families, a civics curriculum for middle schoolers, a classical music program for students, and a variety of interactive projects.

Ana can most likely be found playing games, listening to the radio, or snacking with her daughter and husband somewhere within the borough of Queens.
