Chris Blasting has been working as a creative professional for over 10 years across multiple fields of the
entertainment industry. Based in NYC, he currently works as part of the Content and Creative Affairs
team at 9 Story Media Group, where he first started in audio and music production across several series
including Karma’s World and Get Rolling With Otis.
Originally from Syracuse NY, Chris studied voice and piano at SUNY Geneseo and worked as a music
director at numerous regional theaters and multiple touring productions including Ringling Brothers and
Barnum & Bailey Circus and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Chris worked as a talent manager at The
Cooper Company, representing award-winning actors, choreographers, directors and writers before
moving on to RWS Entertainment Group as a Creative Producer. There, he produced both original and
branded live shows and experiences for theme parks and resorts, such as Hershey Entertainment and
Resorts, Cedar Fair, and Madame Tussauds.
Chris is also a Broadway producer, having worked on the Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of Be
More Chill, and the Broadway production of The Inheritance, which won the 2021 Tony Award for Best
Play. He also volunteers as an adjudicator for the Stephen Sondheim Awards, Connecticut’s regional high
school musical theater award program, celebrating excellence in high school musical theater.
