9 Story Media Group is an industry leading creator, producer and distributor of Emmy award-winning kids and family focused intellectual property, including “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood”, “Wild Kratts” and “Doc McStuffins”. 9 Story Media is seeking a highly organized applicant to assist the Audio Production department at 9 Story US. This is a hybrid technical/administrative role, supporting multiple audio pipelines across 2-3 animated series-in-production. Key responsibilities include serving as a critical point of contact between production teams, Dialogue/Animatic editors, and our animation studio. Candidate must be reliable, detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and have an interest in Audio Production for Children’s Media overall. This job is remote for the time being, but will be based in New York City. This job is a 6-month contract and is remote for the time being, but will be based in New York City.

Responsibilities:

  • • Work with the Audio Production Department to help ensure a fast and efficient flow of Audio assets to various teams, across multiple productions.
    • Pro-Tools session-prepping for dialogue editors or VO records
    • Preparing audio assets for deliveries as necessary
    • Provide hands-on Dialogue/Music Demo processing and organization, as needed.
    • Maintain internal production documents related to VO sessions, edits, and Audio deliveries
    • Track circle takes
    • Contribute creative direction during pick up sessions, as requested
    • Participate in tracking pickups and ADR notes, across multiple stages of production.
    • Contribute to Audio Department discussions around workflow and new ideas for production/development.

Requirements:

  • • Experience working with ProTools, specifically in editing and preparing dialogue deliverables
    • Minimum 1 year of production experience, preferably in animation
    • Candidate must be able to excel in fast-paced, high-volume environment
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize daily workload, and shift priorities as needed
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • An interest in Children’s Media
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office + Cloud Content Management software
