We’re seeking a candidate to help manage creative content production for Duolingo’s kids and literacy product, Duolingo ABC, and lend support to a variety of other audio and video programs for the company. Our ideal candidate has a blend of production management experience and a sharp editorial skillset. You’ll join Duolingo’s growing studios team to help create original content in multiple languages that will reach millions of families worldwide wishing to learn about language, culture and more.

You Will…
- Coordinate day-to-day production and publishing of original content on Duolingo ABC (maintain multiple production calendars and manage workflows, coordinate multiple remote teams, oversee publication of new stories and content, etc.)
- Help establish and improve Duolingo ABC’s creative format and production standards across multiple languages and levels
- Help source freelance staffing for production, including casting hosts and actors and recruiting production staff
- Contribute creative input to production; review scripts, artwork and edits and provide feedback to writers, actors and audio producers
You Have…
- At least 2 years experience working in an equivalent role producing ongoing animated, illustrated, audio or video productions
- Experience building out production timelines
- Experience juggling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience scripting or editing compelling, character-driven stories
- Meticulous attention to detail and a working command of common content and/or project management systems (Google Drive, Monday.com, etc.)
- A strong interest in education, culture, and language
Exceptional Candidates Will Have…
- Proficiency in animation, audio mixing and/or video editing
- Working proficiency in at least one additional language, especially Spanish, French, Portuguese, Mandarin, or Japanese
- The ability to write or direct animated productions in one of the above languages
- A knowledge of best practices in animation, audio or video storytelling and creative development
- Experience producing interactive storytelling experiences in new media formats
