THE OPPORTUNITY
Assistant production editor will provide support to trade production team on print books, audiobooks, e-books, and sales materials in areas such as proofreading, schedule reports, freelancer administration, and file management.

HOW YOU CAN FIT (Qualifications)
A B.A. degree, or equivalent
Excellent skills with grammar and spelling, and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and organize own work in a deadline-oriented work environment
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person
Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
Interest in developing knowledge and skills related to book publishing
