Jerome Rossen is a composer, songwriter and audio producer. For over 20 years, he has run Freshmade Music (www.freshmademusic.com) an independent audio production studio that focuses on creating music for kids apps, games, podcasts and TV. Jerome has worked with PBS Kids, GBH Kids, PRX, Originator, Leapfrog and Disney. Jerome also created music for the irreverent cult cartoon, the Happy Tree Friends, a show for older kids which has over 2 Billion lifetime YouTube views.
Jerome is a recurring guest artist in local SF Bay Area schools, where he writes songs with kids in grades 1-3. He has written over three dozen songs with kids about character education, math, history and science, including a nine song musical the coral reef.
Jerome runs a YouTube channel, Jaromey Bananas (https://www.youtube.com/@JaromeyBananas) that features his fun, quirky songwriting for young kids.
Jerome lives in Marin County, CA with his family, including his teenage kids and his dog Disco.
