Nickelodeon is looking for a Project Manager who will be the primary facilitator for the execution of promotional campaigns from initiation of assignment, through final delivery maintaining schedules. Project Managers work with multiple internal departments and external clients and vendors daily ensuring effective and diligent workflow! Does this sound exciting?
Responsibilities & Duties
- Primary point of contact for entire team during campaign execution – inclusive of leading meetings, crafting and managing project timelines and creating an appropriate approval/routing plan.
- Develop and establish relationships with Show Production Units, Production Management, Talent Department, Legal, Standards as well as all team members and outside vendors.
- Responsible for the management of brief distribution.
- Leads all aspects of training of new project management hires.
- Acts as liaison during project life cycle for Media Planning, Strategy, Marketing, Digital Social and On Air teams.
- Leads overall production schedule including rough edit routes, graphics, asset delivery dates, final shoot footage delivery dates, key approval routes for graphics/edits, catapult dates.
- Works with Production Management to confirm team has all assets needed from Nickelodeon show production.
- Ensures all partners are included in each round of development and all pertinent approvals are being received
- Main contact with outside graphics vendors and internal design team for schedule and deliverables.
- Routes rough and final spot approval links to identified groups outside of the Brand Creative team ensuring all work has been approved in time for air.
- Maintains weekly status report and leads weekly status meetings for editorial, graphics, production and OACIS team.
- Communicates project updates and status to all lines of business at critical points (Marketing, Press, talent, Design, Digital)
- Communicates all feedback in a constructive, professional manner between internal and external partners.
Required Qualifications:
- Adopt Nickelodeon brand and culture
- An overall understanding of on-air and digital project management as well as production.
- Ability to handle clients and project partners
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Experience running multiplatform creative process from development to implementation
- Well versed in current digital and social platforms expansive of desktop, tablet and mobile
- Strong leadership and negotiating skills
- Ability to perform well in a fast paced environment
- Ability to supervise and lead others as part of project teams from idea to completion
- Adept at managing initiatives across internal functions and third parties.
- Articulate, flexible, collaborative, detail oriented and proactive
Experience Preferences:
- 3-4 years Project Management experience
- Network experience
